DECLARATIONS & DECREES: YOU WILL WALK A LIFE OF POWER ONLY AS YOU DENY YOURSELF!
December 17, 2017 – Matthew 16:21-28; 1 Corinthians 1:1-9, 25-31; 9:19-27 (NASB)
Matthew 16:21-28: 21 From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds. 28 “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
1 Corinthians 1:1-9, 25-31: Paul, called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, 5 that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.…25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, 29 so that no man may boast before God. 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
I Corinthians 9:19-27: 19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. 20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law. 22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. 23 I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. 24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. 25 Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; 27 but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
I write these decrees in the Name of Jesus Christ and in His authority and through His power. The Angelic troops stand ready to dispatch these decrees to the heavenly realms to the rulers, and authorities, and to post in the King’s Palace (Revelations 2 and 3, Ephesians 3:10, Esther 8:10, 13).
» We decree and declare that YOU, a Servant of the Most High God are being STRENGTHENED and FILLED with HOLY POWER as you DENY yourself and pick up your cross. RESURRECTION POWER flows into the lives of those who no longer live to themselves.
» We declare the Children of God, ALL WHO FOLLOW JESUS/YESHUA are ARISING to say “NO!” to themselves and ARE FOLLOWING HIM! It is the enemy who says there will be no hardships or persecution. There is no power if we do not follow in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua.
» We declare whoever wants to save his own live will destroy it, but whoever DESTROYS HIS LIFE for Christ’s/Messiah’s sake will FIND IT. Those who gain the world will FORFEIT his life. The Son of Man is coming in His Father’s GLORY, with His angels; and then HE WILL REPAY everyone according to his conduct.
» We decree and declare YOU ARE SET APART by Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua and CALLED to be God’s holy People – along with everyone everywhere who calls on the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah, their Lord as well as yours.
» We decree and declare because of God’s LOVE and KINDNESS given to you, you are being ENRICHED by Him in your POWER OF SPEECH and DEPTH of KNOWLEDGE, through Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua!
» We declare and praise God that the TESTIMONY about Christ/Messiah is FIRMLY ESTABLISHED in you; so that you are not lacking any SPIRITUAL GIFT and are EAGERLY AWAITING the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah
» We decree and declare HE WILL ENABLE YOU to hold out until the END and thus be BLAMELESS on the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah—God is trustworthy: it was HE WHO CALLED YOU into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah, our Lord!
» We declare God’s “NONSENSE” is WISER than humanity’s “wisdom,” and God’s “WEAKNESS” is STRONGER than humanity’s “strength.” God CHOSE what the World considers nonsense in order to SHAME THE WISE; God chose what the World considers weak in order to SHAME THE STRONG.
» We declare it is GOD’S DOING that you are UNITED with Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua. He became WISDOM for us from God, and RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS and REDEMPTION as well! Therefore, as the Scripture says, “Let anyone who wants to boast, boast about the Lord.”
» We decree and declare as a Servant of the Most High God, you make yourself a SLAVE to all in order to win as many people as possible for the Kingdom of God. You do it all because of the REWARDS promised BY THE Good News, so that you may SHARE in them along with the others who come to TRUST.
» We declare a CLEANSING and UNIFYING of the people of this land as these decrees go forth.
In the name of King Jesus Christ, empowered and led of the Holy Spirit of God, we dispatch the Angelic troops, throughout this land and in the spirit realm, to deliver these decrees to all, both flesh and spirit. The enemy, the principalities and powers, have no authority to act against these decrees of our King, the Lord God Almighty; their actions will be of no effect to God’s chosen ones, but will be turned back on themselves for destruction.
The Lord God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, we praise Your Name for You are True and Faithful and Just to perform it. Amen!
