DECLARATIONS & DECREES: YOU WILL NOT FEAR THE GIANTS!
April 25, 2019 – Deuteronomy 9:1-6; Joshua 5:13-6:5; 1 Samuel 17:8-11, 16, 20-23, 29-37, 45-52 (NASB)
Deuteronomy 9:1-6: 1 “Hear, O Israel! You are crossing over the Jordan today to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you, great cities fortified to heaven, 2 a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the sons of Anak?’ 3 Know therefore today that it is the Lord your God who is crossing over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy them quickly, just as the Lord has spoken to you.
4 “Do not say in your heart when the Lord your God has driven them out before you, ‘Because of my righteousness the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you. 5 It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
6 “Know, then, it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.
Joshua 5:13-6:5: 13 Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” 14 He said, “No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” 15 The captain of the Lord’s host said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.
1 Now Jericho was tightly shut because of the sons of Israel; no one went out and no one came in. 2 The Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the valiant warriors. 3 You shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days. 4 Also seven priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people will go up every man straight ahead.”
1 Samuel 17:8-11, 16, 20-23, 29-37, 45-52: 8 He stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel and said to them, “Why do you come out to draw up in battle array? Am I not the Philistine and you servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves and let him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will become your servants; but if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall become our servants and serve us.” 10 Again the Philistine said, “I defy the ranks of Israel this day; give me a man that we may fight together.” 11 When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.…
16 The Philistine came forward morning and evening for forty days and took his stand.…
20 So David arose early in the morning and left the flock with a keeper and took the supplies and went as Jesse had commanded him. And he came to the circle of the camp while the army was going out in battle array shouting the war cry.21 Israel and the Philistines drew up in battle array, army against army. 22 Then David left his baggage in the care of the baggage keeper and ran to the battle line and entered in order to greet his brothers. 23 As he was talking with them, behold, the champion, the Philistine from Gath named Goliath, was coming up from the army of the Philistines, and he spoke these same words; and David heard them.…
29 But David said, “What have I done now? Was it not just a question?” 30 Then he turned away from him to another and said the same thing; and the people answered the same thing as before.
31 When the words which David spoke were heard, they told them to Saul, and he sent for him. 32 David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail on account of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” 33 Then Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are but a youth while he has been a warrior from his youth.” 34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant was tending his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and took a lamb from the flock, 35 I went out after him and attacked him, and rescued it from his mouth; and when he rose up against me, I seized him by his beard and struck him and killed him. 36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he has taunted the armies of the living God.” 37 And David said, “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and may the Lord be with you.”…
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, 47 and that all this assembly may know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give you into our hands.”
48 Then it happened when the Philistine rose and came and drew near to meet David, that David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand into his bag and took from it a stone and slung it and struck the Philistine on his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, so that he fell on his face to the ground.
50 Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand. 51 Then David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. 52 The men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted and pursued the Philistines as far as the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the slain Philistines lay along the way to Shaaraim, even to Gath and Ekron.
I write these decrees in the Name of Jesus Christ and in His authority and through His power. The Angelic troops stand ready to dispatch these decrees to the heavenly realms to the rulers, and authorities, and to post in the King’s Palace (Revelation 2 and 3, Ephesians 3:10, Esther 8:10, 13).
» I decree and declare you are CROSSING OVER, to go in to DISPOSSESS those who are greater and mightier than yourselves. Though the People are great and tall, though you have heard others say, “Who can stand before these men?”, you KNOW today that the Lord, Adonai your God/Elohim is the One Who will DESTROY them and WIN this battle for you!
» I decree and declare you KNOW it is by God’s MERCY and HIS STRENGTH that you have overcome your enemies; you will not think that it is by your own righteousness or strength. For you are not righteous except by the CLEANSING BLOOD of Jesus/Yeshua; and you do not have the strength. But with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! God is driving out the evil individuals; He is driving out your enemies because of their wickedness!
» I decree and declare that the Lord/Adonai does not take sides, but where He LEADS and where He STANDS is HOLY! Reverently and with Holy FEAR, listen to and OBEY the Commands of the Lord God Almighty/Adonai El Shaddai. Though there are many mighty warriors, with the Lord/Adonai leading, you will OVERCOME!
» I decree and declare OBEDIENCE to the Commands of the Lord God/Adonai Elohim will bring VICTORY to your life. There is no set pattern or formula; the strategy may not make sense, but God is SOVEREIGN and He will bring you VICTORY!
» I decree and declare you will not listen to the taunts of the enemy; they will try to wear you down with their words and physical size. They will challenge you and your God. STAND STRONG against the opposition, for GREATER IS HE WHO IS WITH YOU, than those who are with them.
» I decree and declare AWAKEN from your lethargy, you who doubt the Lord’s STRENGTH. LISTEN and TURN to TRUST in the Lord God Almighty/Adonai El Shaddai and His Son, Christ Jesus/Messiah Yeshua.
» I decree and declare you will STAND STRONG and UNWAVERING even in the face of opposition from your own People, your own family. They do not have the RELATIONSHIP or FAITH in God that is RAISING you up. Go forth BELIEVING in God and His Word above all others.
» I decree and declare you KNOW and have EXPERIENCED the POWER of God Almighty/El Shaddai to DELIVER you from danger. He will never leave you nor forsake you. On this you can RELY!
» I decree and declare when the enemy comes against you, it is not you that they are CHALLENGING, but it is the Lord of Hosts/Adonai Tzva’ot, the Creator of the Universe. The Lord will deliver the enemy into your hands; then ALL the EARTH will know that there is a God/Elohim who is above all others. He does not deliver with sword and spear, for the battle belongs to the Lord/Adonai.
» I decree and declare a CLEANSING and UNIFYING of the people of this land as these decrees go forth.
In the name of King Jesus Christ, empowered and led of the Holy Spirit of God, we dispatch the Angelic troops, throughout this land and in the spirit realm, to deliver these decrees to all, both flesh and spirit. The enemy, the principalities and powers, have no authority to act against these decrees of our King, the Lord God Almighty; their actions will be of no effect to God’s chosen ones, but will be turned back on themselves for destruction.
The Lord God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, we praise Your Name for You are True and Faithful and Just to perform it. Amen!
Blessings,
Dawn Flores
